Lauren’s mentorship program, along with the process of getting set up with suppliers, was seamless and was more valuable than I could ever ask for. About us
Travel With Character® LLC specializes in concierge planning for family destinations. We are well know for our theme park planning, but we also plan other family vacations, (resorts, tours and cruises worldwide), and are always looking to grow those numbers. We call ourselves travel "Advisors", as we go much further beyond the click-and-book. We give our guests concierge level service and guidance before, during and after travel. Our goal is to make clients for the long-run and advise them with every trip their family takes! It's all about customer service and relationship building. We pride ourselves on being experts in our specialties. There are opportunities to specialize in specific destinations or niches as well.
Qualifications
-Have a strong knowledge of family destinations, including theme park, all-inclusive resorts, cruises, custom international travel.
-Communicate well both via Zoom, phone and email with clients. Have the ability to respond quickly to clients and the owner.
-Are detail oriented and can read and understand the "fine print" of Terms and Conditions and policies. Those which will keep up to date with the ever-changing safety protocols of today.
-Have an enthusiasm and passion for travel
-Desire to build a large client base and have personal sales goals. There may occasionally be opportunity for agency leads, but you are responsible for building your overall book of business.
-Have a creative-side; some examples being graphic design, social media reels, music, photography, art, etc.
Independent Contractor
As an Independent Contractor you will make your own hours, use your own supplies, invest in your own tools to use and grow your business, and run your business as your own under our the umbrella of our Brand. It is a customer service and sales job, but also a great way to work-from-home, make your own hours, and build your business at your own pace.
There are currently 4 advisors on the team from all over the US, and we like to keep our group small so that each advisor has personal attention and mentorship. My advisors are also my "clients" and it is important to see them succeed.

Training Program
For those who have no prior experience as a travel advisor, we offer a training program. There are some recorded videos to watch and discussion based time with the Owner via Zoom. Applicants must complete this program before I consider them as an Independent Contractor. The program takes at most 60 days to complete and will take you through the tools needed to book and plan vacations. It is taught through the lens of our company's brand and systems processes, combined with Supplier training. I'm pretty flexible on the times we meet to do the training sessions, and there might be up to 4 additional trainees in your group. Completing the program does not guarantee you an opportunity to work with our agency, but that is the ultimate goal if it is a good fit for both parties.
This program is by invitation and is a $300 investment
